Q1. Do you have any shop experience?
A. I have been learning to pierce for
like 2 years, I have worked in a tattoo and body piercing shop for about 6 months. My
experience piercing has been two lips and a labre. I have two tattoo guns but am working
on getting the inks and the power packs, I hope to have those very soon.
Q2. Where did you get your first Tattoo and Do you know by who?
A. Dan, at the Jersey Devil in Blackwood, NJ
Q3. What was going through your mind when you got your first tattoo and how did you react
weeks after it was on your body?
A. I was thinking " how an I gonna hide
this from my parents...LOL" but more importantly.."man, I have waited a long
time for this, and I am finally gonna do it...I hope it doesn't hurt...LOL". Weeks
after, "I want another one.. how much do you think it would cost to get my whole body
done?"
Q4. Is there a meaning behind your 1st Tat and what is it if you care to share?
A. Well, I got a Chinese symbol for rain. At
the time I was engaged to a man named David and he and I always believed that the rain
followed me. It was always raining when I was sad or when something (bad or good) happened
that affected my life... so in order to permanently signify the importance of such a
belief I got it tattooed in the most artistic way I knew how.
Q5. What is your favorite Tattoo, where is it and why?
A. Definitely my dragon on my neck, it is
done in oriental lettering and with an oriental dragon, and it signifies my love
for god.
Q6. What advise can you give people who are looking to get
ink for the first time?
A. Hmmm, just do it but make sure that you
pick something that you know that you are not going to regret, and also something that has
a good meaning. Flash may look like it would be cool but it is more important to have
something that you would remember as yours rather than something you
would see on everyone else and their mom.
Q7. Any additional Comments?
A. Tattoo's are a statement of your own
personal tastes and beliefs, they are a reflection of yourself completely. They are also
permanent so if you want one be sure of it before you get
it done.
